The person behind the logic (and the 1M+ visitors).

I’ve been told that SEO is dying so many times now that I’ve actually lost count. Honestly, it’s probably been an annual tradition since about 2005.

But here’s the thing—it never does. It just gets a bit more... refined.

I’m Andy. I’ve spent over 30 years in the IT world, which is a polite way of saying I remember what the internet looked like before it was "cool." I’m a CTO by trade, an IT professional by training, and an SEO fundamentalist by choice.

Why listen to me?

I don’t really believe in "SEO magic" or chasing the latest buzzword just because everyone on LinkedIn is shouting about it. I look at search through the lens of systems architecture and information retrieval.

If you want to know how to rank a semiconductor startup and take them all the way to a NASDAQ IPO in six years, I’m your man. I’ve done that. If you want to know how to find 800,000 organic visitors for highly technical B2B sectors where the "keywords" feel like they're written in another language? I’ve done that too.

The "AI" elephant in the room

Right now, everyone is panicking about AI results and "GEO." It’s become a bit of a circus, hasn't it?

My take is probably a bit boring to the hype-merchants, but it’s effective: GEO is just SEO done properly.

The AI engines—the ChatGPTs and Perplexities of the world—don't pull their answers out of thin air. They rely on technical crawlability, structured data, and undeniable entity authority. If you’re not showing up in AI results, it’s usually because your SEO foundation is a bit wobbly. I help people fix the foundation so the "future-proofing" part happens naturally.

I’m not just a "data guy"

While I love a good spreadsheet and I’ve built my own proprietary tools to track AI citations (because standard tools just aren't there yet), I’m also a big believer in the human side of marketing.

I’ve spent a huge chunk of my career leading teams. I don't just "do" the work; I build the departments that do the work.

I work with agencies and marketing departments as a Fractional Tech Marketing Lead. I’m the person you bring in when you’re "stuck." Maybe your team is great but they’re overwhelmed by the shift to generative search. Or maybe you’ve got the talent but you’re missing the CTO-level technical framework to tie it all together.

I train, I mentor, and I’ve helped teams grow from "doing okay" to being genuine leaders in their field.

What I actually do:

  • Fractional Tech Marketing Leadership: All the expertise of a CTO/SEO Director without the full-time overhead.
  • Team Training: Upgrading your internal team’s workflow to dominate the generative search landscape.
  • Technical Frameworks: Building the "Machine-Readable, Human-Trusted" structures your site actually needs.

If you’re tired of the "science experiments" and just want a search strategy that actually follows the laws of logic, we should probably have a chat.
